Crab Cake Recipes

I'm on the search for the perfect crab cake. Not one in a store, but one I can make at home. Maybe it's not the perfect crab cake, maybe it's really the right cake for the right occasion. To that end, I'm collecting recipes, links to recipes, etc. If you have a crab cake recipe you like, send it to me.

Important crab cake safety tip: cheese does not belong with seafood! In fact, if it doesn't say "pizza" on the box, it shouldn't say "cheese" either. :-)

Initial Crab Cake Experiment

I made a batch of Crab Cakes based off Barbara Mikulski's recipe above. I had two 1-pound cans of crab. Doubling her recipe didn't quite work. That meant 2 eggs, and I think I needed three. And I think a bit more of the Old Bay. I'm also going to find some Panko to use as a bread crumb on the outside. As soon as I have something I'm happy with, I'll post the final recipe.
