I'm amazed at just what a leader he is.
It only took him 6 years to start saying the sorts of things I've been saying since before he took office. You all should have voted for me instead! But do you think maybe he reads my old blog entries for good ideas?
He is now, finally, saying we should raise fuel efficiency standards. He's started to talk about hydrogen fuel cells.
Of course, he also said (regarding his request to Congress to give him the power to set fuel efficiency standards for autos), I encourage them to give me that authority," Bush told reporters during a visit to a service station in Biloxi, Mississippi. "It's an authority I used for light trucks, and I intend to use it wisely if Congress will give me that authority."
Um. He's going to use it wisely? He's not qualified.
