The American Episcopalian Church has elected a woman as the presiding bishop. This choice is in opposition to the worldwide Episcopalian organization, which does not allow for women to be consecrated as priests.

Bigotry in all forms is wrong. I applaud the Episcopalians for taking the lead, even when it's difficult, by recognizing the evil inherent in bigotry and refusing to accept it.
