Easier to Deny The Truth

EPA Critics Seek To Squelch the Truth

"Today's action by the EPA is the beginning of a regulatory barrage that will destroy jobs, raise energy prices for consumers and undermine America's global competitiveness," said Sen. James Inhofe, R-Oklahoma, the ranking member on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. "It now appears EPA's regulatory reach will find its way into schools, hospitals, assisted living facilities and just about any activity that meets minimum thresholds in the Clean Air Act."

I have to wonder if Sen. Inhofe is a trained scientist. He sounds more like an ostrich with his head in the sand. Senator, I have to ask you: would you prefer that we ignore the truth because it's just too hard to bear? Is that how you approach other issues facing this country?

I have to say, anyone unwilling to admit the truth and deal with it has no business as a leader of our nation: and senators are supposed to be leaders. Don't the people of Oklahoma realize this?
