Joe's RV-6A Homebuilt Airplane
I'm building an RV-6A. This is a homebuilt kitplane designed by
Dick Van Grunsven and sold by Van's Aircraft. The airplane will
sport two seats in a side-by-side configuration, tricycle landing
gear, and low wing. Cruise speed with a Lycoming O-320 160 HP
engine is expected to be between 180 and 190 MPH. Compare this
against a Cessna 172 with the same engine and a cruise speed of
under 120 MPH.

engine using what Superior claims are better parts
resulting in a more reliable engine with less maintenance.

is making an experimental diesel engine. At this point, I'm
probably going to go with the XP-360 from Superior (as built by
Aero Sport or Mattituck), but this engine looks like it's worth
watching.

Aircraft Extras makes a kit to transform a slider
canopy into a tipping slider canopy. It looks kinda
cool and gives you better access to the baggage area.
